An Inspiring 2011 Year’s End Bit of Wisdom

An inspirational quote from a well-known source of information on natural remedies and healthful living – the Medicine Hunter:

“Pure, organic, non-alkalized cocoa appears to be the healthiest thing you can put into your body after water. And semi-sweet, dark organic chocolate is right up there, too.”

What a remarkable statement. He stalks the remotest reaches of the planet seeking out the most powerful herbs for health and healing, no matter what the risks. In so doing, you would guess that he may have found at least a few remarkable herbs that have dramatic health benefits. Maybe an herb that cures cancer or at least acts as a powerful cancer preventive. Or an herb that lowers blood pressure and strengthens the function of the heart and blood vessels. Or an herb that provides tasty low-carb nutrition, loaded with essential minerals, that fights diabetes. Or a nutritious herb that minimizes the risk of dementia, lessens depression, and augments a sense of positive well-being.
After all his searching, he found a natural food substance that does all this and far more. But it is not a strangely named exotic herb from the remotest reaches of a distant hinterland. He endorses healthy chocolate. Makes sense to me!
